Stair Lift for Vets’ mission is to install stair lifts in the homes of older and disabled U.S. military veterans from every era and branch of service. When a veteran needs help navigating stairs or remaining safely at home, Stair Lift for Vets may be able to provide the mobility solution. We support veterans so they can remain safe and independent at home for as long as possible.
“No one left behind” reflects the commitment service members carry on the battlefield. Veterans stood in defense of our country, often sacrificing their health and mobility. We are honored to serve those who served us.
Based in St. Paul, Minnesota, with a secondary office in Chicago, our service area continues to grow. We currently assist veterans in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Missouri, and Michigan, with additional areas planned.

Who qualifies for stair lift assistance?
Assistance is generally intended for veterans who have difficulty safely using stairs and who may not have the financial resources to purchase and install a stair lift on their own. Every request is reviewed individually based on need, location, equipment availability, and available funding.

Yes. A spouse, family member, caregiver, social worker, or authorized representative may contact us on behalf of a veteran. We may request additional information before beginning the charitable assistance process.
