Ryan Alvarez

Guided by his service to the community with safety and accessibility top of mind, Ryan is dedicated to making a meaningful impact for the community and the homes of his customers. His work goes beyond business—it’s about enhancing the quality of life for others by ensuring that homes and spaces are safe and welcoming!

Lisa & Kevin

Meet Lisa and Kevin, our newest team members. Lisa is our new Vets Funding Coordinator and her husband Kevin is a disabled USMC Veteran who volunteers his time. 

Lisa retired last year after working for the State of Minnesota for over 28 years. After those years of working in public service, Lisa wanted to continue to help and give back. She saw the need within the veteran community and her work allows her to assist Veterans in need.

Kevin is very passionate about wanting to help other veterans and is a great advocate for them. He enjoys assisting veterans to be able to stay in their homes safely, which is why he is volunteering his time. 

They are both very compassionate and caring people who want to give back to the veteran community. Together they work to help veterans and their families.

Peter Kruse

We are proud to welcome Peter Kruse as Chief Operating Officer and member of our Board of Directors. Through local and national exposure and referrals, StarLift LLC and Stairlift for Vets is experiencing a rapid increase in demand for services, and with Peter’s leadership we are confident in our ability to support this growth.

Although Peter is new to our industry, he is quickly learning every facet of the company’s operations, from office administration to installation. He brings 15 years of proven experience in business management, where he successfully trained and led teams, streamlined operational processes, and consistently elevated customer experiences. His background also includes extensive logistics, shipping coordination, and inventory management, giving him the ability to build systems that keep a company organized and efficient as it scales.

As an Eagle Scout, Peter exemplifies strong values and moral character. He honors the service of our military warriors and respects the needs of our veterans. He believes his greatest service is to provide assistance and solutions to seniors and disabled clients, and he is deeply dedicated to the mission of our company. His work and travels have fostered a deep appreciation for the diversity and uniqueness of all cultures, and he maintains friendships from around the world. He is also fluent in Spanish.

StarLift LLC and Stairlift for Vets founder and owner Ryan Alvarez and his family have known and trusted Peter for well over a decade, working together in the Alvarez family’s various businesses. Ryan values Peter’s strong work ethic, his ability to quickly organize and master complex systems, and his unwavering commitment to treat every customer and employee with kindness, compassion, and understanding.
